NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Transformation Headquarters (ACT) held a change of command ceremony Yesterday in Norfolk. After three years as ACT Commander, General Denis Mercier was replaced by General André Lanata (biography available at - https://www.act.nato.int/supreme-allied-commander-transform…).
In his last intervention as SACT, General Mercier highlighted the complexity of the current environment and the need to anticipate and identify future tendencies, their implications for the security of the Alliance and the role ACT can play towards fulfilling these objectives.
General Lanata highlighted the role that ACT has in NATO and the importance of remembering those who have served to guarantee the defence of our values and the security of our populations.
