João Martinho de Moura, a Portuguese artist with particular interest in the fields of digital art, intelligent interfaces, digital music and computational aesthetic, inaugurated yesterday his exhibition at the NATO headquarters, in Brussels.
The exposed art piece materializes the author's determination to represent the human body in digital media, in an interactive way, through monochromatic visual abstractions and minimalist lines.
The Deputy Secretary General, Rose Gottemoeller, the Permanent Representative of Portugal to NATO, Ambassador Luís de Almeida Sampaio, and Deputy Secretary General for Executive Management, Wayne J. Bush, attended the inauguration, as well as about 70 NATO workers.
The curatorship of art was ensured by the Portuguese Luís Miguel Girão, NATO Art Expert Consultant, who said that in the coming months, other similar events will take place.
