The Auditors of the National Defence Course (CDN) visited NATO Headquarters in Brussels on 28 February.

During the visit, the Auditors attended lectures delivered by the Portuguese Permanent Representative to NATO, Ambassador Luís de Almeida Sampaio, and the Permanent Military Representative, Vice Admiral Silvestre Correia. The lectures addressed NATO related topics, such as its structure, focusing on the national position, and on the challenges to the Alliance.

The Auditors also attended a briefing on cyber-defence and NATO-EU cooperation in this field by Neil Robinson, from NATO's Emerging Security Challenges Division.

The CDN, annually promoted by the National Defence Institute (IDN), is a space for reflection and debate on security and defence matters in its conceptual, international and national.
